On Thursday, August 20 at 7:00 PM, join us for a conversation with former Iowa Supreme Court Chief Justice Marsha K. Ternus. The first woman to serve as chief justice in Iowa, Ternus was part of the unanimous Iowa Supreme Court ruling that legally recognized marriage for same-sex couples in Iowa. In 2012, she received a Profile in Courage Award from the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation. Don’t miss this important conversation!
