** Due to concerns about COVID-19, recommendations regarding social distancing, and lack of testing capacity, the Educating Rhonda event scheduled for Saturday, March 14th has been cancelled. We hope to bring reschedule this event in the summer months. **

Join Rhonda Martin, Democratic candidate for Iowa Senate District 20, along with special guest and climate change activist Channing Dutton, to learn about what climate change means for Iowans — and what we need to do now to protect our environment.

Guest Speaker Stacey Robles will present on Iowa’s agricultural workforce needs including the role of seasonal migrant workers. She will explain who they are, why they are important to Iowa’s economy, why Iowa employers seek them out to fulfill workforce needs, and work visa issues.
